ARP Fasteners Part #'s for the Beta
Refer also to the sticky thread in the forced induction forum.
Main Studs:
Stud: #AM 3.800-1LB.........(M10x1.25) $4.99 ea
Washer: #200-8519.......... (10mmID, .750"OD) $0.99 ea
Nut: #300-8343................(10mm x 1.25 12pt) $3.99 ea
You will need 10 of each studs, washers, and nuts. ARP has a "10 pack" part number now that's cheaper than buying individually, so use these for the nuts and washers when ordering a full kit:
10 pack of Washers: #200-8689 $7.99
10 pack of Nuts: #300-8363 $30.99
My searching found that Jegs was the best place to get the whole set for $101.87 shipped. You can also order directly through ARP. There is also a "kit" from Atomic Speedware. Of course prices change with time.
Head Studs:
Part #AM 4.500-1LB..........Qty 8 (M10x1.25 Studs) $5.49 ea.
Part #AU 7.250-1LB..........Qty 2 (M12x1.25 Studs) $11.62 ea.
Part #200-8519................Qty 8 (10mmID, .750"OD Black Washers) $0.89 ea
Part #200-8536................Qty 6 (12mm ID, 3/4" OD, Black Washers) $0.94 ea. *need 6 to shim the extra length of the stud*
Part #300-8343................Qty 8 (10mm x 1.25 12pt Nuts) $4.03 ea.
Part #300-8308................Qty 2 (12mm x 1.25 12pt Nuts) $4.33 ea.
Rod Bolts for Stock Rods:
Part #107-6001................Includes Qty of 8
About $32 for the kit.
Wheel Studs:
Part #100-7717.................Qty 5 (mitsu-evo8 studs)
These are for your front studs only! This is a package of 5, so you will need 2 packs and have 2 spares.
You may also use these in the rear, however machining may be required due to the knurl being slightly larger than bore.
You will also need open-ended lugnuts.
Torque Specs:
M10's = 60ftlbs. (with ARP lube)
M12's = 80ftlbs. (with ARP lube)
Add a couple lbs if using regular motor oil.
Pauters with ARP Rod Bolts = 50ftlbs. (with Motor oil)

The part # is the length.
Part #AM 4.500-1LB is 4.5" long and so on.
The threads are 1" long.

do they have the hex head on both ends for installation? and also being the 1.6L Alpha, they are m10x1.5... is there going to be any gain by converting to m12 studs? will it increase clamping by alot or not really???

You can't just get bigger studs.
No, there's only one hex head. There's no reason to have it on the bottom side.

i though ARP #AM 4.500-1LB was a inch of thread bot ends, 1 end at m10 x 1.25 and the other at m10 x 1.5??? or am I wrong?
What was the part number for the kit of these bolts?
the 1.6L G4ED Alpha will be able to use a 4.500" stud but has to have at least one end at m10 x 1.25
Cheers Ryan

There is another option for the 12MM studs that shouldn't need to have washers stacked up.
The specialty products guy down there did some measurements/legwork, and we found an L19 stud that's standard, doesn't need the extra washers, and will work with the existing nuts.
I'll post back with the part number when I get them in my hands and in the engine.
