Default 4-1 headers or 4-2 headers

I have a 98 Elantra 1.8l 5-speed. Which type of headers would be more efficient 4-1 or 4-2?
I would like to put a 2.5* brulen cat back and exhaust along with the headers

With a manual I'd go with a 4-1 and a 2.25* exhaust, That would be the best setup, I would think.

Why would you put 2.25* ? Isn't more restrictive than 2.5* ?

If I'm right it creates more backpressure, which is better for performance, a 2.5 would be louder though.

I believe the bigger the diamater, the more top end HP you get, but you will lose some torque. For 4 bangers its not suggested to go above 2.25 unless youre running some kind of F.I. I could be wrong though.

Would you recommend Brullen 2.25* cat-back systems ?
