dont post the same topic twice.. and fix your introduction in the intro post..

i answered you about the swap in there.

QUOTE
your not going to find anything thats going to give you a power increase by swapping that will be easy.. nothing will directly swap into the rd2 tib. or rd1 for that matter. since you have the 2.0L and not the 1.8L you have the highest motor upgrade stock.

for any swap into the tib, itll be ALOT of work to get everything mounted and working.

turbocharging is your best bet for power..

or nitrous if you just want bursts of power.

i was told by a shop that they could do a 2003 nissan altima, but dude you are prob a noob and dont know anything about it. that in itself would cost like 13k with modifications, yes you go to v6 but the weight of the engine would make the car even slower than it was stock and your engine bay would be extremely tight meaning no room for upgrades = 13k down the drain for less power. think about it.

proen, first of all, you yourself are a n00b and don't really know what you are talking about, and you gotta stop being so friggin negative. you need to do alot more research and learn alot more before you come in threads making statements like you do.

why the hell would you do an altima swap. theres many other swap options that would be WAY better than an altima and still have room to play with, it would just take time and fabrication. 13k for less power? how do you figure that anyway? n00b.

the best swap IMO would be like an EVO 8 swap, but it would take quite a bit of fabbing up to get it all to work..

the beta is very boost friendly, and thats your best option.

^^

that covers your best options right there pretty much. the 4g63 is the closest swappable motor other then the stocker. but its still no easy task in any way.

stick with what socks said, and just boost your stock motor. they handle boost pretty well, and in the long run you will go faster for cheaper then swapping a different motor in

the beta can push ~400whp with just some low compression cast pistons, and NO other supporting mods to engine.. and then for the transmission, all you need it like a 500$ clutch/flywheel combo and your set.. for only 1000$ in mods to motor and transmission, you will be able to hold enough power to run a high 11, low 12. then you slap on a turbo kit for a few grand, and you will build yourself a low 12second car for under 6000$.

even if you found a close swap, it would probably cost a good chunk of change to rewire the harness, fabricate everything, and get it working, and you would still only have ~40-100 more hp depending on the swap.
