Default 20 HP for $10...WTF!?!?!?

OK, this looks like a crock to me, but could this be a real ecu/timing upgrade on ebay starting at $10 with no reserve!?!? Or is it something that you will get and then find out it's from the "Action Cars" toy line by Matel.

Crock, complete and utter bullshyt.

Here's the clincher:
QUOTE
This kit will tap into your computers wiring harness at a certain sensor under the hood and make the computer think that colder air is coming in that what is really coming in thus advancing the timing and producing more power
They're putting a resistor on your air intake temperature sensor... A resistor that you could buy six of at Radio Shack for $0.49

Not only that, but the stock ECU mapping doesn't advance timing based on air intake temperature -- it adjusts FUEL delivery. This modification would, if anything, make your car run more rich. This would in-turn make your fuel economy go down while ALSO making your performance suffer -- these cars run entirely too rich from the factory to begin with.

My Tiburon with I/TB/manifold/cam/ported head/4-1 header/free-flow cat and 2.5" exhaust gained another eight wheel horsepower when I REMOVED 17% of the injectory duty cycle at 5000 and above RPMs.

I'm going to report this butthead and his stupid sale...
