Does anyone know the manufacturer's specified volume for the combustion chamber? I've measured mine (all 4 49.5 +0.5cc) with valves and spark plugs installed, and I'm wondering how much volume I put in there when I reshaped the chambers. Also, is their volume with or without the head gasket height (I measured to the bottom of the head only)? I searched here and at HA, as well as hyundaitechinfo.com with no luck.

How many ccs in the combustion chamber? Anyone? Bueller?

^ Thanks for that.

hmmmm.... You wouldn't happen to have a clean stock head up there would you?

I know shavings don't pack very tightly when you sweep them in a pile, but it would be quite a surprise to find out I had "only" taken out 2.5cc from each chamber!

At one point, Random (Tony) had his cc'd out when stock, and I used his figures for calculating the compression for the piston dishes and deck clearance when I did my motor eons ago. 47cc sounds 'about right', but it's been too long ago to say for sure. I was pretty positive that information made it to HA in one form or another, but quite a bit of searching has yielded nothing thus far.

Edit - I sukc at teh spelinng
