I "winterized my car yesterday" took off rims, CAI, Strut brace, etc.
I have a quick question. I did not put my air duct or resonator back in, am I going to have any trouble running all winter, in extreme cold with no resonator or air duct? Just wondering, thanks

No, you are fine with everything in front of the air filter box gone. That's how my Tib is sitting right now. No problems.

Why are you taking all that stuff off? Road salt and such?

Keep the strut brace on man.

yeah, road salt is horrible up here, it get everywhere. I painted my strut bar myself, I don't feel like doing it again in the spring, plus with a couple of feet of snow on the ground, I don't think i need the performance. I am gettting my car under oiled soon, which is why I took my CAI out, I don't want them spraying my nice air filter with rust proofing. And lastly I just took everything off because its not hard and in the spring it will give me something to do.

I would put the resonator back on then. Look at theh grime that ends up on the side of your car. I wouldn't want that to have easy access to my intake.

^ I agree, ...put it back on.
You know in Toronto snow gets everywhere!!!!!
I mean the crap just sticks to the everything - it would suck if it clogged the hole on you

Just stick the 3" Air Filter at the end of your MAF!

Beh, I will just put the rest of the air box back on before winter, better safe than sorry, plus, canadian winters are not pretty, so I won't be needing the performace. Thanks for the input.
