Re-dye leather with leatherique
 
Tools and supplies needed:



1. 400 grit sandpaper

2. synthetic, acrylic type artist brush

3. Leatherique Prepping Agent

4. Leatherique Crack filler

5. Leatherique Dye



You can buy leatherique products at http://www.leatherique.com/ since my project was small and the seats are black so I just bought the steering wheel kit which include everything I need except the crack filler for $25 and just bought 2oz crack filler for $10.



Before re-dye seats were worn and has scratches and small crack:

Step 1. Wet sand the area you are going to re-dye with prepping agent and 400 grit sand paper until all old dye comes off

Step 2. This is only if you got cracks and deep scratches apply crack filler using card board then resand til smooth



Area has been sanded and crack filler applied:

Step 3. Clean area and wait 24 hours til crack filler and prepping agent dries

Step 4. Apply dye using acrylic brush thin layer is better than thick let dry 20 min and apply atleat 3 - 4 coats dry 20 min between coats
