ok, i've seen a few threads that ask how to remove the front bumper of the 2nd gen, but i haven't actually seen an illustrated pic (which i think is the most helpful over drawn diagrams). so here's pic for reference. i only labeled the one side, but the other is the same. and i labeled both screws beneath the bumper/air dam.

i hope this helps out for those installing haloz and whatnot.

Edited: Fixed picture. Thanks Phorq!

To get the headlights out do you just take off the bumper, unplug the harness, and pull it out? Or are there more steps to be taken?

phorq... how much work is it to remove headlights and replace with new ones? I've taken my Veilside bumper off several times, just haven't looked to see what the deal is with the headlights. Fairly simple I'm guessing?

well, after doing it a few times now, i can remove the bumper, switch headlights, and replace the bumper in about 45 minutes without it jacked up or lifted... (i did it in the parking lot of my job last week during lunch, and that's how long it took.) after you get the bumper off, there's 4 obvious bolts holding each headlight on. it's really not hard after a couple times, but the first time will take about 2 hours (roughly) just to make sure everything is correct and re-connected. i promise it isn't hard, just time consuming. i was scared of going through the effort at first, but it isn't really that bad. if this is the only thing keeping you from getting Blacktibs haloz, don't worry, it's easy, and you'll learn a little about your car. laugh.gif any questions i'll be happy to answer.

and Thortib, yeah, that's it. remove the bumper, which you need to disconnect the harnesses to do, remove the 4 bolts on each headlight, re-attach the 4 bolts with the new headlights, and re-attach the harnesses and bumper. done deal.
