Well, with the amount of threads here that talk about this "fix" to get rid of your exhaust/o2 sensor related CEL, no one did a DIY for how to do it with the parts available locally. I'm going to verify the parts as I think I've got these same ones at home already, and will drill one out and install this weekend and let you folks know how it works for us.

No use in reinventing the wheel, so here's a great DIY I found for this, with the part numbers included.

Same parts, same process folks.

me and Redz have been talking about this and i finally did it...right now no cel...thats 2 mile drive from Hobby shop to home lol...

but who ever does this please drill out with 3/8 drill bit first, then 7/16 and finally like the DIY says 1/2...it just makes it easier...

i will report back to let everyone how my progress is going with it

I thought we had a few people using these? I had one on my RD2 for a long time.

idk...but so far so good fing02.gif

Ericy, we do, but no one posted specifics on what worked or didn't, or just mentioned one on ebay. Well, there are tons, and the ones on ebay are more than you'd pay to get your own from a local auto store.

Figured it would be good to have a DIY with the proper info instead of a bunch of "uhm, you can do this I heard" stuff.

Ahhh I got it. Good to have it all in one spot. Hope it works for you guys. Mine never gave me an exhaust code again.

Well, Megan Racing makes a one piece version of this that fits for us, I'm getting one of those to test out and then we'll have it for sale on KFX also.

There'll be several options for everyone.

sometime spaces issues are a problem with those
reason why i went with the electronic way of doing it (off road use off course)

as of right now...so far so good...on friday i will post about this again and how i did mine

Just finished doing this. So far according the proscan the cat tests haven't been completed. I'm sure it'll finish tomorrow on my way to school, so I should have an update tomorrow morning.

Well according to proscan the code is pending 02.gif guess I'm going to have to use both nonfoulers after all. (Tried to get away with just using one)
