I screwed up my front bumper (cracked it) so when I fix it I want to add an intake for the radiator and also remove the center post from the FMIC area. Anyone have any ideas for the type of vent/duct to put in? Here is a picture if you feel like photoshopping something for me.

Thanks!

DAmn I plan on doing both of those if I keep the cuda 2 front. Looking forward to seeing how it looks

In case you didn't know I have a Honda radiator in my RD2. I have edited the image to show where I would need some sort of duct to go.

Are you cutting up higher for the IC as well? Looks like you could use more space all around. You may be weakening the bumper a lot in the process.

Also, are you seeing overheating problems at all? I think I need to do something asap for my setup that will be up soon.

I was thinking of just putting louvers or something on the inside lip above the IC. Honestly I do not think I have a problem with airflow to the intercooler, just the radiator.

Ya that seems a common problem with turbo in general and even worse without the stock vent that we lose with the cuda front. Well good luck. Anything directing a little more air through it would deinately help.

I was also thinking I could make some sort of shroud for the bumper side of the radiator and run some vent hose down to the ducts to the right and left of the IC.

Since you have a Honda Rad. i would go with something that an aftermarket bumper for the RSX has.

Kinda like that.

LNHeart, that is very close to what I was thinking. Any idea on where I can buy one so all I have to do is mold it in?
