very cool.. I am going to be doing some work to my rims soon.. two of them got curbed last winter in the snow and one got accidently dropped on it's face while I was doing some brake work.. How about an opinion though...

Remembering that my car is Hyundai's dark forest green.. what do you think of redoing my Enkeis with a dark graphite paint on the spokes and the small lip they attach to on the rim with the rim itself remaining silver?

oops.. double post. Sorry!

Looks awesome....lol and I was going to pay 35 a wheel to have them powder coated. That looks just as nice if not better than the powder coating I was looking at.

mad-machine, it would go on and look fine, i've just always seen polished lip rims as bare metal shine, rather than silver paint... so it's sorta hit or miss until seen. you should start a topic asking that question, maybe post some straight-on pics of the rims for a good photochop. it has potential.

and dang, man, wheres the tread?

Good idea on a new thread.. maybe I can get a photochopper to do work.. and those are Paradas... no tread on the outside edge

I sparyed my stock rims gunmetal too. They don't look bad. but make sure you have done some srary painting before! Take it slow. Having them sand down by hand is virtually impossible. It will take hours per rim. if you plan to keep your painted stock rims, clearcoat is a must. I messed with my stock rims with 2 colors, before I sold them, take a look.

top pic looks awesome, bottom pic would prob look good on different color car, maybe the blue color.

Looking good. I don't think I've ever seen those stock rims before. I like em. They look good on your black car.
