Ok sorry not trying to contriedict you i have just been trying to stop the pannels around my 6x9's rattling forever and i always hear you gotta stick insulation to the panel to make it way more or with this stop the rattling sorry to seem so despret but i am.

I did all around the car, EXCEPT the back panels around the rear speakers because the space behind is very hallow, i have to stuff alot and don't see why it should help. But, for the rear speaker, check the metal panel that hold the speaker to see if it vibrate cause it already have some dampering tape (you can tap with a rubber mallet to hear if it vibrate). Have you try rubber washers on the 4 speakers bolts ? I think in that area, you need to stick some dampering tape on the panel that hold the speaker.

Roxul work great on my doors, ceilling and trunk so far.

ya it isn't around the speaker as much as it is the lower panel which the speaker sits in rattling against the top one
