Here is a DIY for a universal stabalizer bar I found on ebay. It seems to work great. I noticed a big difference in the handling of my car after I installed this brace. Hope you enjoy. If you are interested in purchasing one, just go to ebay and do a search for JDM floor bar. They are going for about 27.00 USD

Edit: hucked on fonix werked fer me! lol.gif I meant "stabilizer bar"!!! oh well!

Wow I'm impressed. That looks like it fits really nice for a universal fit thing.

Great job man, it looks realy good, an excelent alternative to the pricey K-spec one. THe Kspec ones go for liek 79$, im sure this one is near the same effectivness. Seems simple enough i might just do this! Subsrcibing to the thread and gonna see if i can pick one of those up off ebay.

Are center bars effective?

Tube is connected to the body with metal stripes (red thing in the pic "A") that can flex in turns. If that construction was solid that would be much better.

I think it would be much more effective if center bar will be like in pic "B"

I completly agree with you Dmitry.

Well, he claims there is a big noticable gain, and it's $50 cheaper plus imo it looks nicer than the KSpec ones, so it seems like a pretty good deal. i think i might try this one.

I just removed the kspec one to sell to tiburonmoo. After driving the car to work this morning I could tell that the car was looser in the corners. The only problem I had with the one from kspec is the kids feet kept getting stuck between the bar and the seat. tongue.gif

If you want to kill flex, install a roll-bar kit.

good DIY. adding it to the listing...

Yeah, and ya'll were wondering why the folks from the BBQ were selling their bars. LOL The secret is out. The JDM bar on ebay is about $59 shipped, comes in silver, blue and red.

Trust me, his center bar is the best I've ever seen, and it's out of the way.

Dimitry, good idea, BUT, you'd have problems with folks feet in the back again.

And when we have the few hundred extra bucks sitting around and time to take off all that crap and install them, we probably will.
