Re: Radiator question/help..
Quick dumb question but is it possible to make the wires less visible??
|
Re: Radiator question/help..
Yeah, you could, but why?
Get some nice colored wire and you are good. |
Re: e-manage hookup HELP
I just dont care for all the loose wires, but if they were colored it might look better, dunno.

Re: Does this video bother anyone else? Deceptacons?
There aren't any loose wires up there. All have been zip tied down.

Re: Veilside Hood & Wing
i know what hes saying. doesnt want to make it look like there are more wires in his engine bay.
|
Re: Fosgate Amp
Yeah, just sorta looks messy in a way to me. I know they're zip tied and all but looks like excessive wires everywhere!

Re: Insomniac Thread
Good job spiceflow. I think I'll do this soon.
I do agree with alabama_boi though (both times tongue.gif ), I'll be trying to hide the wires too. Just to make it tidy. |

Oh yeah! I forgot to update this. oops.gif After several months, I don't see any signs of damage or wear on the wire that goes under the hood support. So it should be just fine there. |
Re: What exactly does a SAFC 2 do?
I see some flaws in your design.
While it is good to run a bigger cable from the ALT to the battery it also needs a fuse. The regular inline fuse is 100AMP And from what I see you have no fuse at all. This has the potential of hhurting the battery and/or ALT. http://hmaservice.com/xml/graphics/E2/E27B309A.jpg The cable connector you changed is E31-1 And if you ddint leave the original installed the ALT is losing its sensing ability and over charging the battery this will cause it die quicker. And will put more straing on the ALT and thats means less HP. I just think this should be addressed we dont want any tib owners stranded off to the side of the road. Your ground points seem alright. Thou I would add one to the back of the firewall near the brake booster since most of the ground points for the engine sensor all run lines back to that point. |
