This was orginally posted on another website. I can't remember which one though, but it was non-hyundai related forum. So, I don't think anybody around here will get mad if I post it.

First, go down to your local auto store and buy a single solid pinstripe that matches the same color as your car. Line up horizontally or vertically, if you prefer, three or five stripes on your lights. Then, outline the edges of tailight with the pinstripes to complete the look. Your taillights will decent during the day, but the look should improve when you have them on at night.

I tried doing this for my first gen tiburon, but I didn't like it. The shape of taillights make lines not look right. I think this mod is better suited for the second gen tails. What I did to mine is, I outlined the edge of the white section of light and then outlined the red section of the light. I'm still trying to decide if I like it that way or not. I'm going to give it a week to see how I like it.

It's gonna be 2 weeks until I can get pics. I took my digital camera to school last week, and I won't be back there until then.

as an alternative.. use the tape to cover the taillamp and then PAINT over the lamp and the tape.. then peel the tape away. Do it black for the smoked look or body coloured for one that is more intergrated. I did that with my old black 1st gen Excel.. it looked pretty cool.. wish I had a pic of the rear of that car.
