The Voyager 1 has left our Solar System
So this is pretty cool, The Voyager 1 is now out of our solar system (though technically it's a bit debated) and will be discovering what lies beyond our sun's gravity. They even have about 10-15 more years of power left.

Imagine if you left your fave Deep Purple tape inside the craft

It's only left the solar system, but not the galaxy! Theres not much to discover. Even if you sent something farther than the Galaxy it's so huge that its impossible and we'd all be long gone before any info returned.
Thus we gotta think of new ways to retrieve information than by using satellites or conventional crafts.
