A friend of mine gave me his 360 but it has the RRoD. It's still under warranty and has been fixed once, but he "can't find" any of his paper work or original receipt.
Can I send this pile to Microsoft and get it fixed, or is the warranty non transferable?

I did search a little, but this specific topic wasn't covered. Sorry if it has been and I didn't see it.

 

Sell on Craigslist to unsuspecting victim. Buy PS3. Enjoy.

Call the tech support, give them the serial number. If its under warranty they fix it at no charge to you, if its not then it cost $100.
