Ehh. I myself now wonder what Nintendo might come out with next, but at the same time, love the fact that PS3 will have the current technologies out there and be Blu Ray capable.

The Wii is only fun for parties with people that don't like regular video games. The graphics are crap and most of the games are pretty damn lame.

^totally agree. but they changed their demographic focus from kids-teens/traditional market > kids, teens, adults, elders. the only way to do that was to completely restructure, and create a "mature" looking system. i hate to say it but it worked. the whole strategy was to get a wii (or Nintendo stamp) in just about every household. so far they've exceeded their expectations by selling a lot more than planned. i call this "selling out".
that's what Sony gets for using 16 year-old controllers with their lousy off-center joysticks (someone always says "yeah but it's already perfect" bs) who uses 16 year-old controllers and waits for other consoles to innovate striking new better things to steal the market?
the Playstation used to be a pioneer in design, but now it generally stinks. it's big, heavy, unattractive, outdated, uncomfortable ('aint nobody can tell me it's good if my hands hurt from the screw holes biting into my skin, or the joy-stick feeling fake and being off-center).

The market was already there... My parents had an Atari. I had a Nintendo, Super Nintendo and a few others. I don't think they really built anything. I stopped playing games before the XBOX 1 came out. I still have not found anything that makes me want to spend $300 on a console since the XBOX 1.
The only reason I bought the XBOX 1 is because of the chippability of the unit. It was a development platform. XBMC Media center came from the XBOX. I now have a full computer dedicated to running XBMC Media Center. I really think the XBOX 1 was the last great system. It was a video game console and more. Now they're all locked down and rely on the internet. Forza would be the only reason I bought a XB360, but it's too pricy for a video game.

I use the 360 a lot, only probably less than half the time for games.
I have Netflix that streams directly to the 360, also Last.fm which is very convenient. Plus it'll stream music/pictures/video from my PC, which I use all the time too. Even if it didn't play games at all the 360 would be worth $200 to me.

Nintendo sucks. Everyone I know who has a Wii has not played it in 1.5 years or more. Nintendo will probably come out with 3D games. Which is cool. But only Nintendo fanboys and same type of people who bought a Wii will buy it. And they will get tired of playing 3D bowling with retarded looking characters. Just like they did with the Wii.
