They finally released some extended gameplay footage. Looks promising, still not sure about the method of control, but I get a good vibe from everything else. It starts about 30 seconds in.

Damn, I really want to play that. Metroid is probably my favorite game from NES back in the day. I don't know if I'm gonna go buy a console to play it though. We'll see.
