Totally unnecessary. Instagram fills in the void that iPhone does not have a native sharing option.



Gallery on android is synced across all devices for the last few years. Twitter, picasa, Google+, Facebook and just about everything else is integrated because of "Share with".



Instagrams purpose is to make sharing and picture manipulation easy... well, you can edit pictures on your device and share them. Instagram isn't needed

Google+ is better than Facebook, but we use Facebook.
