Samsung has their own software already called bada with a 0.4% market share, but that company is finally about to make a big move in order to compete with Apple and Microsoft.

After seven years, six generations and soft launches on a tablet and two smartwatches Samsung has had to get over the scars of bada and make its move. Even now expect the first steps to be cautious as Samsung juggles Android partner status with trying to become Google’s rival.
No-one knows better than Samsung that the cost of failing again would be disastrous and it risks severe damage to a powerful reputation that no amount of ad spending could fix. But victory would be transformative. No longer would Samsung simply be a manufacturing partner to the likes of Google and Microsoft.
It would be their equal.
