I wish I had forced myself into this when it started. The semester after I graduated there was a course in out IT department focused on mobile (Android) development. I contemplated taking the course just for fun and to learn.



I didn't. I regret it. I rooted my old Pre. It was fun using PuTTy and getting into the code. I just rooted my Nexus 7, and it was all point and click :hahaspit: it's amazing how "dummy proof" you can automate things.



Props to all your accomplishments, and good luck at the BBQ. I was reading about it on XDA, looks like a blast of nerdship and tons of prizes.
