Video I watched earlier today said the prices will drop very quickly in the next 1-2 years. The jump from SD to early HD was much more significant than 1080 to 4k. I can't really tell the difference unless it's on BluRay and I never watch Bluray. And I'm probably gonna be too drunk to notice most of the time. I won't be buying until I need to replace my TV, which won't be for several years. I'm quite content with my 55" LED

Not worth it unless you get over 60" IMO. I planned on buying a new tv in the 70" range anyways, so I will probably get a 4k. If I didn't already need to upgrade, I wouldn't even bother looking. Especially not until they can stream it.

Do they have 4K movies yet? PC Gaming is the only thing I can see it used to its potential now, I haven't looked into it though.

Yes, Sony has a special DVR that can download only a limited amount of movies right now. The library is building, but not fast enough for the price you pay for the tv. It also takes like 2 days to download one.

Yes, there are several ways to get 4k movies but they're still really expensive. Supposedly some downloadable 4k content is coming soon from some of the current providers, but you'll have to have a helluva connection to really take advantage of that.
I'm in the market for a TV myself right now and looking at some of the 70"+ 4K tvs. Plus I have 50 Meg cable, so I'll be fine.
Totally looking forward to F1 in 4k

I want to get a 40ish inch 4k and use it as a computer monitor. I was disappointed that the XBOX One and PS4 didn't offer this technology. I'll probably get a 4k TV when a console gaming system supports it.
