What does "1 cup, dry, yield" mean?

Default What does "1 cup, dry, yield" mean?
Making some white rice tonight for dinner and this recipe I have with it says to add "1 cup, dry, yield"

What does that mean? dunno.gif

That means serving, like 1 cup yields how ever many servings the box says.

Yeah, 1 dry cup will obviously yield much more when cooked. Yield is your total outcome after cleaning and cooking a raw product.
