Default propane vs charcoal grilles

so what's everyone's take on outdoor grilles?? do you prefer charcoal or propane?? which ones do you prefer & why??

I like charcoal because you can add woodchips soaked in water for certain meats. Propane is sometimes good if you're in an apartment complex.

Charcoal tastes better and give you more options for flavor.

Propane is faster.

My grill does both AND has a smoker box
