I make stuff like that occasionally. Replace one beef patty with a sausage patty, and a grilled breast with a breaded patty though for best effect IMO.

A pace called Draft House has a "bratzel burger" I like. From their website: "Bratzel Burger, with Angus chuck beef, smoked bratwurst, applewood smoke bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheddar and Swiss cheese, pickles and fried sweet onions, served on a pretzel bun, paired with 38 Special, a blend of two gold medal winning brews: Holy Cow! Original Pale Ale and Red Hydrant Ale. The pretzel bread gives it a nice balance, and given the Wisconsin heritage of this restaurant, just had to be there!"

I don't understand how you are actually supposed to eat that? Is the bun there as a joke?

I pull the knife out, squish it and eat. I'm not a small guy at 6' 3" and 200Lbs.
