Default How do you cook your bacon

how does everyone cook their bacon? fryin pan? oven? microwave? electric griddle?

And how do you like it....extra crispy, lightly crispy, almost raw?

I always cook mine in a frying pan until its super crispy. Then I lay it on a plate with paper towel for a few minutes until most of the oil is dried up.

I prefer grilling it over charcoal but that's a PITA so we usually pan fry it.

I like it cooked to the point where the fat hardens. When the fat is still flexible I will eat it, but prefer it crispy. Nothing worse than "bacon sushi".

my wife has a pan that allows you to bake the bacon! It's delicious

We usually buy that ready made bacon, there are only 14 pieces in the pack so we don't eat a whole pound!

unwrap frozen bacon. Slice all the strips in one frozen chunk into 1/4" wide pieces. Thaw in a big pan on low heat with a lid. Then fry until they would be crispy if you pulled them off the fire. Add a dozen eggs, salt, pepper, and cook on med/high heat until the eggs are done. Serve with buttered toast.

Nice on the bacon scramble I like it half way between raw and crispy, and use our electric flat top for it.
