Default Does anyone else hate corned beef and cabbage?

I know a lot of people love to eat is during St Patricks Day but I think it's disgusting I hope I'm not the only one that thinks this too.

Grew up in Boston, so this was a regular meal for me. Not just St. Patrick's Day.

I skip the cabbage but am a big fan of corned beef, at least the way I cook it.

Still not sure why this is an Irish tradition. Seems like an American tradition we like to say is an Irish tradition.

Actually, bacon and cabbage is an Irish tradition. However, when Irish immigrants came to America, they couldn't afford bacon. Irish Americans substituted corned beef. So, it's not from Ireland directly, but it's been a tradition for my relatives since they came here. Like I said, it was a regular meal, not just a St. Pat's day thing.
