Never was a fan of red wine until recently because most red wines to me are too dry. I prefer sweeter more pleasant drinking wine. Plus isnt red wine usually used more for cooking?

What do all you guys like? angel.gif

More for cooking, absolutely not. If you're finding a red to be to dry or to potent, it's because it's not a drink alone wine. These are the wines that need to be paired with a dish that will compliment them to make them balanced. You can almost tell by the taste of the wine what is needed to balance it out. Not more for cooking, just more for going with a complimentary dish then most whites are.
