Hyundai Aftermarket - Zekon kit 97 tib

Alright well first off, i want to say thanks for the group buy, it went really well, real smooth transaction and i did get my kit in due time (about a week late) not a big deal here is where the trouble starts,

I recieve my kit about a week later i bring it to a shop in town to find out how much it is to paint and prep, i was told just from looking at it, that the prep would be over $1000 cdn, so I went back on here and talk to a few guys to see if that is a good deal, or what cuz i know nothing, i was told that the shop guy was probly having a bad day and to try another shop.

I did and was quoted again "atleast" $1000, so i decide maybe my town is all mad and went to another city, 1 hour away, they told me that they dont want to do it because the integredy is so bad.

Some of the things that were said my these shop owners were "not worth the meterial it is made of, complete junk" "poor fiberglass, poor kit" "not worth the money" "is this second hand?"

Here is why the shops didnt wanna deal with it, when you run your hand on the front bumber it isnt smooth at all, most of it would have to be sanded away and replaced, one of my side skirts was broken in half, and mended with a bit of pudy and fiberglass on the backside. plus the front seems to have one side that is longet than the other by over an inch.

I tried to talk to zekon to get my money back but they said all products are final, after talking with them more i found that i could sent it back, but i would have to pay shipping and a 30% restocking fee, so i would end up with $200 of the original 700 i paid.

NOW, mastercard is involved and looking into it, (filed a complaint with them) and i am seeking legal action with my friend to see my options.

The funny thing is everyone else kits worked out, i dont understand why mine is so shitty....
