Damn, I think my passenger front wheel bearing is shot.

I have to take it in to the dealer, monday morning,
for "hopefully" warranty work.

I hate letting those morons work on my car.

oh well, I guess I will get the squeaky clutch pedal fixed too.

Still hate the dealer though.

I had to get one of my front wheel bearings fixed last summer. Took it to the dealer for that now it's good as new!

I've heard that our stock wheel bearings aren't very good. In that they don't last very long. Probably better to go with some aftermarket bearings!

i doubt it. you might be able to match it with one of the same size from a different car though.

that sounds like more work than most places would be willing to do.

Just an update.. got the car back.. nice to have a silent ride again without all the metallic moaning and groaning. Unfortunatly they also took care of the stupid seatbelt recall... I hate those ugly clips

The wheel bearings on our car sucks, and there's nothing you can do about it. No aftermarket ones, or even repacking them is going to work.

The best advice I can offer you is to get ones like I do from another shop other than Hyundai and pay a little more for the lifetime warranty ones. Thats what I get, I've had my car for just over two years now and I've replaced 5 bearings so it is worth it.

I can't believe the number of people with wheel bearing problems. Do you guys live in areas with a lot of humidity? I ask because my car has almost 220,000 km and I've never had a problem with them.
