What's up with the 'For Sale' forum??
Ok, so on RDT everyone was like, "man, the traffic is crawling, and the number of new threads is diminishing", but at least I remember the For Sale forum was alive and well!! For the past month or so that I've been here, no one's responding to posts on the For Sale threads, and it takes weeks before a new one is posted. Anyone notice this? What's going on?

Oh that's because the sellers suck. If you make a new FS thread, you need to follow it.
We had a rule on RDT about closing orphan FS threads . . . . wink.gif
I wonder if it would be possible to enable subscriptions by default on FS threads. Then you'd get an email when somebody asked, instead of having an interested buyer have to bump your thread.

If someone is serious about selling something, then they will check back and respond promptly. If not, than they are not serious and it's likely not worth the trouble buying from them. It is the buyer and sellers responsability.
I just think that were old now. It's easier to find a scrap car or buy new rather than spend months doing so on the forum. That being said, a lot of the hardcore guys are pretty much finished hooking up their cars.
