Oh God Damn Asshole Cops I've been pulled over twice and, Same cop (Asshole) Thanks to him I have to sell my car.

 

i dont understand why these guys are asshole cops. matmag, were you speeding?

yeah, it sucks and it would have been awesome if they were more lenient sometimes, but they cannot give everyone a break. they wouldnt have any speeding ticket revenue if they did. especially since you were going 16mph over the speed limit. you got caught, simple as that.

 

16 over is careless? Here in New Jersey it is simply a 4 point ticket.. 14 to 21 above the limit is 4 points.. above that, they get you for careless.

 

I think its 15+ here is careless driving (if reckless and careless mean the same thing, I think so...).

Either way, how hard is it to drive at or slightly above the limit? All police I've encountered won't pull you over for 49 in a 45 unless you are driving a really suspicious vehicle in a suspicious place.

 

lol... i'm sorry but that's crude. 56 pfff hahah... everybody does 70 on the highway everyday when it's 55mph because they're late to work.

everybody also does about 60 on a 40. Maryland's speed limit signs are diminished on purpose because the actual speed limit is 20 miles over the sign. here, you get off with a warning or less when you're not driving a '91 Impal and you're not drunk.

you got it bad man. you go to court, judge will be nice and look at your hopefully clean record and will give you a fine of like $20. say you're not guilty either. he pulled you over because of your car and you know it. just tell him the same story you told the cop.
