Ok guys....alot of you have known me for a really long time, and alot of you have grown in the hyundai scene over the years with myself and many other old skool members. I for one am not the type of person to go off and say negative things about other sites, but I really need to rant now.

Most of you are familiar with how NT is ran, and how its under major nazi control there. Well, another forum has now joined the ranks of nazi-ism. Hyundai Performance! I was on the staff since the day the site started up. I've known Rob, Rudy, Kirk, Aaron, and many others who ran that site for a long long time. Ever since the old FxTreme days, and when they all used to hang out on HA, before Rob started up HP.

As most of you know, Rob sold the site a few years back to a corporation of automotive forums. The site started to really go down hill over the last 6-12 months, as the new Admin/Owner began implementing banner ads, and the site started to get hit with an insane amount of spam. The final straw that killed off alot of their member base was when the site upgraded their forum, and the following happened:

- WAY more banner ads
- Paid membership
- Removed the Accent forum (which they later put back up when alot of people yelled)
- Keywords on the site are geared towards the site being for Genesis and Tib owners only

Well, alot of people have been complaining lately about how its being ran there. I sent the Admin a few messages awhile back with an offer to buy the site and implement everything into HA, so there would be one big super forum that isnt model specific. My messages were ignored. Recently there were some threads with angry people due to the fact that the admin now will block or ban people who sell things in the For Sale forum, that competes with their sponsors. If you say anything bad about the sponsors, you get banned (sound familiar?).

I made a post saying that people can always come over to HA if they are miserable there. Not only did this get me a PM from the admin asking me "what the hell is my problem" but it also got me a changed signature. He went in, changed my sig to take out the HA link, and put in the HP link instead. Real adult like, huh? So I removed everything I had in my sig about HP, and HA and said if people wanted to know what was up....they can message me and I'll fill them in.

Rob and I still talk once in awhile and he pops in and out over on HA at times. So does alot of other old skool members who have been in the scene as long as I have. If the admin over there had just sent me a PM and was like hey....can you do me a favor and not talk about HA or take the link out of your sig....I probably would of out of respect. Just like if someone here asked me to do it. But, when someone goes and acts like a little kid and totally unprofessional, well...they can take the site and shove it up their spam loving ass!

I'm now removing the small little HP icon I have on HA and alot of the members there are now on a mission to get people to leave HP for good and go to other sites because of what its turned into and how the owner is acting. I dont care if the owner comes here and see's this and bans me, or kicks me off the staff or what ever. I just want people to know and understand what he has done to that site, and how shitty it is now.

I must give them props on their skins... That's about all I can say nice about them. My mother told me if I don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.

 

Let's see, the Admin is a person named Nadeem, and their location is stated Non-US. The site is run by someone in India now, I'm guessing.

 

hyundaiperformance was where you could get ALL hyundais together. everytime i posted though i always got maybe 1 maybe 2 posts. so it wasn't all that worth it anyways.

it sucks that tiburons are so damn split up. LOL we didn't even bother with the nt guys at the show. "look NT's got a whole group there" "uuuuuuuhhh" "yyaahhhh nnnnoo". the genesis guys probably have never heard of hyundai prior to the superbowl commercials. we're out man.

this kind of shit happens. just look at the europeans vs. the indians. shit gets taken over. unfortunately online you lose all of your status no matter who you are and you have no authority. i got b*tched at NT they didn't even know i come from 20 years of hyundai and know their entire history, while they're nothing more than pricks with no respect. those kinds of people would never hold a door for a WWII veteran.
