Hate Wasps? Me Too...
The Story
So everytime I go to take out my garbage, or put anything in the cans, I get attacked by wasps. I hate these fvckers with a passion.. I can't even tell you how many times I've been stung by these guys... The reason is, we put our cans right under the little overhang on the shed. So there is a 4 inch space wide, and about 6 inches high, of pure open, rain-guarded space. Naturally every wasp in Hickory Hills makes it's nest there.
The Carnage
Anyways... Today it is a gloomy rainy day. I am sitting in my garage, cleaning up my dads mess with hopes to pull my tibby in as usual, then I see it. Relief in a can, and no it's not beer. I see a can of brake cleaner sitting to my left on the work bench. So Then I think... 'Hmmm... I hate bees, bees don't fly when it rains, I have death in a can waiting for them!' . So I take it outside, Blast the shit out of my shed, and swarms or wasps, no joke, I estimate probably upwards of 175 wasps, just start pouring out of this overhang. When it's all said and done, I found 11 hives the size of baseballs. I killed every last one of the bastards...
I am so happy now! No more stings while taking out mah garbage or cutting mah grass!

rofl..nice mang.. i hate those things too. every time i cut the grass they follow me in swarms owned.gif lol. kill them all lol, you might want to clean the nests out because they will come back in more numbers
Nice work. We had one on our chain link fence in my back yard. We have a natural gas pipeline that runs behind us, so theres a good 50' before the backyard behind us. So I went into the field at night with a can of hairspray and a lighter....thing went up like toilet paper.
For future reference....always attack at night, and hit the opening of the hive first to seal off their escape/attack route.

I f***ing hate every type of bee/wasp except bumblebees cause they don't do shit. My cat was really sick, like on the edge of dieing in about maybe 2 weeks...(this was years ago though) and she was in the garden just lying there and I see like 10 bees on her and some stinging her so I was like WTF and ran over there to pick her up and kill the bees off her and then have to take her to a vet or something and when I was picking her up my foot sank and I didn't know what the hell it was and it was one of those underground beehives and it fvcking sucked! I got my foot stung about 20 times up my leg they were all in my shirt so I took my clothes off in my front yard down to my boxers and was just runnin around yellin like crazy cause they were still swarming me...so yeah, I f***ing hate bees.

^^ That's crazy scary...
Soapy water is quite effective also, creates a film around them so they can't breathe. Just load it up in a garden spray can or water gun and it does the trick.

They used to ALWAYS nest in my garbage box and lamp fixtures by my home...Really sucks.
The way I used to get rid of them was at night once they go into there hives you get a can of WD-40 and a lighter....those bastards don't fly to well when they are on fire
