This guy eautodynamic is selling RD1 reverse EL gauges as RD1-RD2. they won't fit RD2. I've asked this guy many times to remove 00-01 from the listing and he will not. He will answer the question that they are the same gauges for 96-01, but when i inform him that they are not, there is no response to any questions. I've messaged him quite a few times about this and it's always the same thing. No answer, no change in auction. He is a scumbag and we need some action here.

These gauges are for a 96-99. I have the EXACT same ones i bought from him for my RD1 cluster i run in my RD2 tiburon. My testing, tibby 01's testing and many other people on this site's testing confirms they will not work on a 00-01 tiburon.

Now to make things worse, my buddy just bought some from him and asked for my help instaling them. He has a RD2 and of course, they wont' fit. I'd like to ask for some RD help to haggle this guy for the sake of all RD2 tiburon owners out there.

Please help me out because there's alot of RD2s out there buying this crap from this guy who has no idea what our gauges actually look like.

is it possible to email ebay?

i just think that eautodynamic won't listen to a single individual. maybe he also sells RD1 clusters? dunno. He's getting bad feedback from my buddy and I would really appreciate it if others would "ask seller a question". I'll figure out the proper procedure for ebay's buyer protection and I really plan on slam dunking this guy. It's f***ed up that I told him repeatedly and then my buddy, next door, buys some and they're wrong.

b****ing about it won't change anything. I had a list of preformatted emails to send to folks on ebay to get them to clean up their auctions and have the parts listed for the correct cars, it helped maybe, MAYBE 1 out of 15 times.

Not worth it.

Try contacting ebay, but that's about all you can do.

Explain to everyone that while the gauges are SIMILAR, they are not identical and won't work correctly. Prove it by showing seperate part #'s and the parts installed.

I had this exact problem when I first got my tibby. I think it was you guys that showed me that is was the wrong gauges when I complained they wouldn't fit. He he I still have the instrument cluster from an rd1 I pulled out of the junkyard so every time I bought gauges I could test fit before ripping mine out. It took me 3 tries to find rd1 gauges. and stay away from Jax_Racing, he does the same exact thing.

Redzman: thanks.

iron: you still got RD2 gauges? I'd like to buy some.

naw man I sold those on ebay after I realized what they were for...I am out of tibby parts now all I have is a couple honda civic parts left over and some mustang GT parts

what's kinda funny, is that I bought the same model gauges shown above for my RD2, and after test fitting unsuccessfully, I put them back up on ebay listed correctly. They sold for $61! No joke. There are many, many people out there looking for gauges for 96-99 tibs, but nobody labels their auctions correctly, so many people don't know they're out there.
