well... im kind of new to the ebay thing but i just recently tried to purchase an aem cold air intake from American - Japanese Domestic Market or www.ajdm.com. I read the reviews and the seller seems to be credible but i have put my order in and i've tried talking to them about my order and im really not getting any responses... im not sure what to do about this, the payment hasnt even showed up on my credit card or anything. im kinda confused on what to do about this... does anyone have any ideas?

Yeah, scour thier website to see if they have #'s to call.

Then, go back and look at their feedback, look at some of the recent items they've sold to see what they are. A can of Coke? 12 Cans of Coke in a row? For 1 cent? I wouldn't buy from them.

Some Ebay companies/stores are just REALLY slow. It happens. The guys that I got my MTX box from didn't reply to my emails until after I threatened them and my product showed up.

Funny.

how did you go about threatning them... i dont want to piss them off or anything and get screwed out of 180 bucks... i just want my intake. ill check on phone numbers tho... thanks

Email them and tell them that you hate leaving negative feedback but you need the information. Tell them you don't want to have to contact Ebay but you will if you can't get ahold of them.

Do it several times.

ok... this is a very slow process... and ill try doing that if i dont get anything out of them by tomorrow. i did look for phone numbers and i couldnt find any... but they have so much positive feedback for real items.. maybe they are just slow with their orders or something. i would really hate to report this to ebay if they do try to screw me over but ill do it... thanks REDZ

how long has it been since you bought it?

cdogtibby1 Feb 26, 2004 12:37 PM

about a week

Here's the problem man, if you go and put Negative feedback now, you won't get your product (Why should they ship it if you already made them look bad?), they won't refund your money (Same reason).

Threaten and make each letter a bit worse, but stay away from profanity and such.

cdogtibby1 Feb 26, 2004 03:49 PM

yea... thats kinda what i was thinking... im just aggrevated that they wont even reply to my emails... i really didnt plan on putting up negative feedback quite yet... i think someone told me that i have like 30 days to retract my bid.

THEY have three days to contact you, ebays rules. If they do not contact you, they broke the contract. Cancel your credit card payment and go to someone else. Unless it is an antique, or a unique piece of art, there are more to be found on eBay.
