driving in worcester (for those who don't know, pronounced "wister"), i reached a section of the road that had another road merging in from the left (instead of the normal right). i was in the left hand lane, and a car decided to run the stop sign and cut me off. doing so, to avoid hitting her, i did the natural reaction, which was slam on my brakes and go to the right. well, there was a toyota pickup in the lane to my right, and i ended up hitting him. my right front fender is all dented in, some of the bumper also got damaged. my mirror got scraped up and further towards the rear has some paint damage to it also. because of the fact that the b1tch who cut me off didn't stop, and i wasn't able to get any information off the car, i'm now gonna get stuck paying for my $500 deductible, plus get hit when my insurance goes up next year!! way to fvckin ruin my night!
I put so much effort into keeping my car in good condition, parking far away in parking lots, and some woman who doesn't know how to drive decides she wants to ruin it. it was a POS saturn, but i wasn't able to get any plate info, and since saturn doesn't put their model name on the car, i have no idea what TYPE of saturn it is. this blows evil.gif

trust me.. hitting her wouldn't have done you a thing.. you probably would have gotten hurt. Sorry man, I can only hope the insurance company does not rape you too badly. What about damage to the truck?

 

if you HATE bad drivers don't ever come to DC, I see at least 2 incidents like yours happen a week here, i feel for ya though.


even though they usually piss me off, sometimes i can't help but bust out laughing at some of the Stupid Sh1t I see people doing here, i swear half the people on the roads here wouldn't pass a written driving exam if they had to (at a traffic stop, no prep time) and thats mainly common sense stuff.

 

the damage to the truck was only where my mirror skraped up against his door, causing a very small scratch in the door. other than that, no significant damage.

if i hit her, i dont' think i would have gotten TOO hurt. i was only going about 35 mph, seat belt in tact, plus an airbag...but yea, i see what you mean. gotta avoid accidents at all cost

my insurance company said that i would have to pay my $500 deductible if i claimed it. i'm in the works with buying a replacement fender for a good deal. since thats where most of the damage took place, i probably won't report it.

yeah dont dont even think about comin to philly... i mean i work there and i cant stand the people that drive down there... and allthe thugs have h2's and benz and everything under the sun that means "pimp".. and they all suck at drivin..

 

Shark01 I've driven through worcester and I know what you mean about the drivers. They do suck real bad. I drive through everytime I go to Maine and it is an adventure. I know the feeling about getting hit in my Tib. The same year I got it I got T-boned on the passenger side right behind the door, going about 10mph and the damage was over 1 grand of work. Thanks for that deductable. But my insurance went up about &800 more a year because of it. Thats the part that really sucked. Hey just think they drive better in Worcester than they do here in Florida. It rains and they are just crashing left and right.
