i cross the border once a month and DO NOT need a BC

 

Passports work just as well.

 

A passport and a drivers license is all you need. You need a BC unless you do not have you passport.

 

well i dont have a passport, and everytime i cross, they ask for ID and BC.. i have been turned away for not having my BC and just my drivers license..

if you have JUST a passport you will be fine.. but as far i know, without a passport, where i cross youre asked for GOVT issued ID and birth Cert.

and btw, someone call me later 586-864-3252, imma be leaving for CND in about 2 hrs and i was thinkin of meeting up with someone around the area for dinner or something..

Ok, let me clear this up.

You need 2 pieces of ID.

1 must be either, Birth certificate, passport, or Citizenship card issued by United States if you were not born there.

Second, can be any picture I.D issued by Government, license, health card, etc..

 

i would bring a BC to be safe but i have NEVER been turned away with just a DL esp if its a NY one and ur just going up for the day
