Similar situation here... Over 1 mile above sea level, yes. In an airplane, no.

I think I have over a mile also, I would have to look at a topo map. I do want to get it done in an airplane though, just haven't pulled it off yet.

I don't think it's a felony...or if it is that's stupid.

It would have to be a private plane so I could do it on the couch. I don't even wanna pee in a commercial airline bathroom.
