Wheel and tire package budget

Generally what kind of budget do you guys give yourselves when you're shopping for a new wheel and tire package? I usually set myself a $1200-1500 for a set of GOOD wheels and tires.

Depends on what my goal is. I always buy tires separately so I can determine the performance of the tires and get the lowest price possible through Discount Tire price matching. I typically go $1500 on my wheel budget for looks

I just paid $1750 for used wheels, tires, spacers, and TPMS but the tires are so crappy I'm considering replacing even though they have 80% tread left. They're the LOUDEST tires I've ever heard and aren't great in the rain. They're Durun F-One and I would never recommend them. They also aren't the size I prefer.
