Who here has security lug nuts on their cars? I always hear about people getting them but I dont know the first clue about where to get them or what kind to get. dunno.gif help.gif

They are talking about locking nuts. Can get them just about anywhere. They just make it HARDER to steal your rims.

Waste of money. A 12-point 13/16" or 3/4" socket and a sledge hammer are all that's needed to remove them. I do it all the time for people who lose their keys.

I think the main benefit, is sledge hammering on your wheel will set off your car alarm. Careful jacking and removing lug nuts won't most of the time.

How often is your car parked where YOU can hear your alarm? You know if it goes off and YOU don't hear it, nobody else is gonna even look up.

Well to give a reply about the actual topic i got mine from this company.

The main reason i got them was to get black ones to match my rims.... which i recently paid for with a flat on the highway with no lug key sad.gif had to get it towed, and watch my bumper fold and exhaust drag the ground for about 5 feet. besides that i have no complaints, just remember to leave the key in your glove box or some where in your car smile.gif
