What can help this..

While driving: How can I get rid off the play in my steering wheel? There seems to be ALOT of play. Like 2"s in each direction..or maybe even more. Is there a "mod" for this? Also RANDOM..still waiting on the Clutch Brake bleed directions/location.

Thanks

you can tighten up your powersteering box (some cars have a nut you can tighten) but if adjustment isn't needed you can burn up your box. rolleyes.gif

If anyone made, them....polyurathane bushings would help a little.

Chances are, it could just be old clapped out power steering fluid, or low fluid.

Also..aftermarket wheels/wider tires and lowering your car can change steering geometry, that would increase play.

How many miles do you have on your 2000? When was the last time you had an alignment done? A bad alignment can hork up your steering as well.

BTW...moving to WHEEL/TIRES/SUSPENSION.
