This vibration is driving me crazy
 

Wondering if someone can help me out here. My tib was giving a small vibration and the wheel shook a little after going over 65 mph. I bought brand new rims and tires, had them mounted and balanced, got an alignment, made sure I had hubcentric rings, made sure the tires were on the right way, had all suspension parts looked at and made sure they were in good order, wheel bearings are good, ball joints are good, and I STILL get the shake at 65 mph.



What else could it be or is this just an issue that all Tibs have? :help:

they r very thin tires probably low pros so there is not much protection from the surfaces ur driving on so ur probably gonna have to just deal with the vibration

but hey at least they are rims.

when they balance a tire they typiclly only balance it up to 55mph-...

does the vibration go away after a certain speed.. or once you cross 65 you deal with it?

It could, but probably isn't, something else in the driveline out of balance. See if you can get the wheel/tires road-force balanced.

LOL Hunter road-farce... at least thats what us service techs in the industry call it. Did they do a dynamic balance or did they do a static balance on your new rims. Static balance uses a single wheel weight, dynamic balance uses 2 weights. If you only see one weight on all your rims take it to a shop that will do it right.
