Default Ultra Racing chasis tuning?

So its been a while since I've seen something "New" for the tib. Shes getting old, going on 14.

So, when I saw this company, I actually got a little excited! Never seen their products before.

I was wondering if anyone has heard or are running any of their products on their cars. Or.....have I been in a coma the last few years!

Here is a link to the catalog of parts for the RD tibs:

Sweet find!

Was looking for stuff like this myself. Only lists 96-98 but it seems most of these would fit all RDs.

Can't vouch for quality though. This company will require some research. The website at least looks a bit iffy.

i have my doubts about the effectiveness of some of these products-... some way more than others.

i'd encourage others to buy all of these products and let me know the difference (mainly because it's not my money, and i could be wrong they might be amazing).

i believe kfxperformance sold some of these-... or altierhp aswell???

Rear sway bar, absolutely!

As for the rest of it:

Unless you use a hydraulic ram to prise the chassis apart enough for this to slide in, exactly what difference will this tube make? I bet that the B pillar is flexing by a smaller amount than the manufacturing tolerances are at 'ultra racing'.

What are these bracing exactly? And again, are they being installed under tension?

If you have flex here, sell your car. Even if this made a difference, would you ever notice it with rubber bushes?

tl;dr it's snake oil apart from the swaybar. Prove me wrong.

sway bar and i'll go as far as to saying the strut bars aswell-... the rest i don't see being worth their weight in scrap metal-... maybe if you welded them all in they might make a difference but i still feel these are just things to make your mod list longer and your wallet thinner.

better off going tube chassis, or roll cage or even spotwelding the epoxied seams lol

those bars must stop some of the body flex when cornering hard???? Same idea as a strut bar is it not?

there's a fair amount of force between the strut towers. all of the other bars go where there is little to no flex due to it already being attached to the floor of the car ( a series of huge pieces of steel strategically welded together). when was the last time you noticed your floor bowing during cornering? even if you did, these bars are really only as good as the points they bolt to. i'm positive the material that these parts are made from is weaker than the items they connect to.

If you have flex in your B pillars and rear control arm mounts, take your car and put it in the bin.

These bars don't make a difference. If they were somehow able to make a difference and you didn't put your car in the bin, you would never feel it because you still have rubber bushes and soft foam seats.
