Default Tire Wear

My front wheels are wearing in the middle of the thread. The tires are at the right pressure and the outer portion of the thread on either side is good. Is this normal and if not what should I do to fix it so theres even wear?

Some tire brands just wear on the inside (which I've always found odd)

But overinflation is usually the cause of this kind of wear.. have you double and triple checked your PSI?

What do you mean when you say they're at the right pressure?

Too much toe can cause it to. Replace the worn tire then get an alignment (don't do the alignment until after the new tires are on).

If it's wearing only in the middle and the car doesn't have *crazy* alignment, your tire pressure is too high. If you are using the maximum pressure, printed on the sidewall of the tire, it's too high.

Sounds like a classic over-inflation wear pattern. Invest on a good tire gauge so you can check the pressure more accurately.
