Bridgestone Potenza RE950 205/40R17 $179.99 cdn BFGoodrich Scorcher T/AŽ Red 205/40R17 $215.99 cdn Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP P205/40ZR17 $245.99 cdn Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 205/40ZR17 $169.99 cdn Toyo Proxes T1-S 205/40ZR17 $269.99 cdn Yokohama Parada 205/40ZR17 $175.99 cdn All opinions welcome... |
I hear the BF goody's SUCK i the rain and are ok in the dry.
|
I have the parada's and I'm not happy with them. They do not have enough dry grip, but they do have better than I expected wet grip.
But living in LA...I don't car about wet grip (maybe 5 times a year)...so I'm dumping the paradas in favor of Kumho's. I have yet to hear anyone complain about them. |
...doing well with my Nitto 450 tires...
|
Are the Kuhmo's good wet/dry? or just dry?
I'm looking for both. |
I have the same Nittos as Iago and their great in rain and dry conditions they are wrapped on a set of Enkie Arashi's. Oh size is 17x7
|
I have the paradas now they seem ok but they have a lot of road noise at hwy speeds. But they are on 18s to so that might make a little diffrence.
I have a set of Toyo Proxes on a set of 16's and they handle great in the rain and dry. Nice ride with these tires and no road noise. I had a set of Nittos on a set of 17's they seemed a little to hard for me. But they handled well in both conditions wet or dry. |
Kumhos are great for wet and dry. They are also strong. I have Yokohamas A520, they are OK but not excellent. We do get a lot of rain. I am going Poxes next, from reviews it seems they are great.

I have the Kumhos 712 205/40/17's
I like them they look cool and feel like they should |
I've got the kumho's and they rule. They're mutch better than the Michelin XGT's. Especially in wet. I haven't tried anything else because
1.20K miles only, 3 sets of tires(one changeover from 15Kumho's to 17Kumho's) 2.I love me my kumho's |
