Shit! I Damaged My Tire
I pulled into a carwash and for some reason, that damn ramp nicked my rim and somehow cut my tire.
Its a surface scratch and its 3/4 of an inch in length, but I'm still concerned whether it will get larger and deeper with time?
It only is a couple mm deep but Im wondering if it is drivable?

oofff... that sucks man. my best friend did that and bent the heck out of all four of his rims hitting rocks because the tirewall didn't exceed the rim to protect it.
i have 215's and the ride quality is a lot better than 205's to start off with. it's impossible for something to attatch in between the space there and rip the tire.
the reason that rims usually come 205's is because the company tries to benefit from having to benefit themselves more than you with price cost. i think all tires no matter what should be a minimum of 215/40. it's too bad... that was an expensive car wash.

well, if you merely took a small layer of "flesh" off the sidewall of the tire, i wouldn't worry about it unless you can see steel belt from that cut. if you can, the tire should be replaced ASAP. otherwise, i wouldn't worry too much about it
