What is it there for? Does it MAINLY hold the rotor on or does it just assist? Is it in both rear rotors and if so have any of you had a rim issue? I have been waiting on rims because this looks as if it's going to be a problem and interferrence.

TIA

Default Screw in rear rotor?

remove it.. it wont hurt anything.. they are in both rear rotors and will possibly cause fitment issues so just take them out

they hold the hub to the rotor (barely)... but your hub won't fall off if there are 4 lug nuts holding the rim in place. lol.

take 'em off. take 'em ALLLL off

yea.. it is only there to keep the rotor to the hub when the wheel and caliper are removed. More than likely it is there to help in production.

offset = how far the wheels sticks out from ur car, your gonna wanna look @ the offset and the width of the wheel, but as far as takin the screw out , i had to chisel mine out then sand it down nice and smooth. You're not gonna be able to put on aftermarket wheels if you dont. If you got a RD2 itll be ok to take out, if its a RD1 and non-captive break setup you are also ok

Basic explaination of offset:

Explaination with pictures:

Stock offset is 45mm. The lowest offset I've read of anyone using with 205 width tires is 35mm.
