Default Safe to claybar wheels with clear coat?

Would it be safe to use a claybar on a set of wheels that have a clear coat on them? It's the same as your paint, right? So in my mind I would think it would be ok.

yes it would help with the brake dust not sticking to them as much. just make sure you put a coat of wax on them that will also help..
